Alton College Nursery
Alton College Nursery is open 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday for 38 weeks of the year (term time only)
Alton College Nursery can have 28 children at a time ranging from 6 months – 4 years. The nursery is purpose built and all ages are together in the room (under 2’s have own separate area) allowing all ages to mix and learn from each other.
Registered with Ofsted and graded good, the nursery has qualified staff with a range of experience and dedication to provide a fun and exciting environment whilst building close relationships, making the children feel safe and cared for.
Five stars! I would say this nursery goes above and beyond for not only the children but the parents as well. All of the staff have been nothing but accommodating and honest with myself from the start. My son has been attending the nursery since he was 1 year old and has thrived ever since… Look no further when thinking of the right nursery for your child; this is the nursery! Why Choose us?
Alton College Nursery is a home from home environment with a calm, relaxing feel for the children to thrive in – we are like one big happy family. Feeling safe and secure enables the children to learn through play and become confident, independent and enthusiastic to learn. The children build strong friendships with each other and the staff.
We have a vast area of outdoor space which we enjoy daily, our gardens are arranged with different age and ability facilities. We have a paved area where we like to ride bicycles and play on the seesaw, a mud kitchen where we enjoy making potions and getting dirty! And our big garden where we have space to run, climb on our pirate ship, have quiet time in our summer house, plant flowers and vegetables and pick fruit from apple, pear and plum trees for snack time.
We regularly visit the local residential home to share activities with the elderly. We take trips to the local park and library as well as the Theatre, sports hall and canteen on Alton College Campus. The children gain lots of experiences and enjoy being part of the local community.
My eldest daughter did placement here for college and said this was her favourite placement. So I have sent my two babies here. My babies run up to the door and can not wait to get inside. The staff are great, friendly, caring and easy to talk to. Plenty of photos and information about what the children have been up to. I personally recommend this nursery to everyone.
